BASIC PURPOSE: Responsible for the optimization of systems throughout their lifecycles from Analysis thru Design, Implementation, Execution and Innovation.


  • Drive implementation and improvement projects including a full-cycle implementation of SAP solutions

  • Responsible for the design, configuration and ownership of Love’s SAP solutions and integration with ancillary systems

  • Understand and recommend best practices of usage of integration points between SD, MM, FICO, WM and other SAP modules and partner solutions

  • Collaborate with team leads responsible for related functional areas (Finance to Manage, Procure to Pay, Supply Chain) and technical teams (Basis, Security, Development, Integration)

  • Lead new solutions initiatives to adoption, providing guidance to teams as necessary for productive results

  • Quickly understand business needs and translate that understanding into a form that leads to the creation and/or composition of better solutions

  • Assess and analyze systems problems to improve stability

  • Elicit, communicate and manage internal and external customer requirements

  • Analyze and document as-is and future state process and system interfaces

  • Work with IT resources to ensure coordination and prioritization of work to support system functionality/performance

  • Represent Business Systems in Change Control meetings, reviewing and approving testing and readiness for release in conjunction with business solution owners

  • Quickly understand business needs and technical requirements and translate that understanding into a form that leads to the creation of better solutions

  • Elicit, communicate and manage internal and external customer requirements

  • Discover process and system gaps

  • Advise business and IT resources on best practices for SAP Solutions

  • Stay abreast and advise of technology changes in the SAP marketplace

  • Provide input to establishing performance measurements to be able to control and report end-to-end process and system performance

  • Contribute to and maintain best practice process management approach for Business and IT

  • Contribute to the development of process standards and evaluation of tools as needed

  • Perform feasibility studies/solution reviews

  • Understand and ensure that quality standards are met

  • Other duties assigned as needed


  • Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Experience:

  • 10+ years directly related experience designing and implementing SAP Development, Configuration, and Processes

  • Knowledge of integration with SAP modules WM, FICO, MM, SD, HCM and Development tools


  • Skills:

  • Knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0, Business Intelligence, BOBJ data warehousing, SOA, Microsoft.Net, ABAP, Idocs, batch scheduling, web services and workflow/process automation

  • Strong Problem assessment/analytical skills

  • Capable of thinking of the big picture and sorting through an ambiguous environment

  • Ability to work within resource and time constraints

  • Ability to manage 100+ emails per day

  • Ability to manage numerous competing demands in an extremely high stress environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Typical Physical Demands:

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping

  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator

  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
